Miguel Ángel Correa Duarte

Miguel A. Correa-Duarte received his PhD degree in Chemistry from Universidade de Vigo in 2002. Then, he performed postdoctoral stays at CAESAR (Germany) and Arizona State University (USA). He currently holds a position as Full Professor in the Department of Physical Chemistry at Universidade de Vigo and leads CINBIO Research Centre and TeamNanoTech, group engaged in the design and synthesis of nanomaterials toward the development of novel applications as well as their implementation on devices. Correa-Duarte has published more than 100 papers in high impact journals and licensed 5 patents. He has been the PI of 15 national and international projects and currently heads the Galician Network of Nanomedicine.
